How Reevol Signal uses your data

When you submit the audit form on the homepage or search page, we capture three things you typed in: the company name, the country (and US state if applicable), and the optional URL. We never ask for your email at this stage.

Behind the scenes, we run those inputs through five AI engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, DeepSeek) to produce the Signal Score. The questions we ask the AI are pre-written and never include personal information about you.

To see the full report, we ask for your work email. Submitting it does three things:

• Sends you the full report by email so you can return without re-auditing.
• Records a lead in our system so the Reevol team can follow up with you about Reevol Compass (the supplier dashboard that lets you claim and manage your AI presence).
• Forwards the lead to contact@reevol.com, where our sales team picks it up. If you'd rather not be contacted, reply to any email from us asking to be removed.

The audit pipeline calls the five AI engines listed above. Each call sends:

• The company name + country + (sometimes) URL from your audit form.
• Our pre-written buyer prompts (no personal info about you).

Each provider has its own privacy and data-handling policy. Reevol does not control how OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google, or DeepSeek handle the queries we send them. If this matters to you, do not submit a company name + URL combination you consider confidential.

We also use SendGrid / AWS SES via our own Reevol Mailer for transactional email, and Cloudflare for edge caching.

Signal uses Reevol Traffic, our own first-party analytics that drops two cookies on .reevol.com: _rv_v (visitor id, 1-year expiry) and _rv_s (session id, 30-minute expiry). These let us see how visitors move across signal.reevol.com, compass.reevol.com, and the marketing site.

With your consent, we also load Google Analytics 4 and PostHog for product measurement, and Google Ads for marketing attribution. You can change your consent at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.

Audit results (the public supplier page + the underlying LLM responses) are kept indefinitely — they're the core value of the product. We may refresh them over time as AI knowledge changes.

Email captures + lead rows are kept for sales follow-up. You can request deletion anytime by emailing privacy@40seas.com.

EU visitors (GDPR) and California residents (CCPA) have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. Email privacy@40seas.comfrom the address you submitted, and we'll process the request within 30 days.
